Bromide is a Chemical compound commonly used as a tracer for the detection of fertilisers within the natural environment. In many cases bromide is used as an alternative to Chloride as there are less occurrences of bromide with the natural environment. Bromide is detected using a sensor called an ISE (ion selective electrode)
