The Solinst 407 Bladder Pump produces quality and high performance groundwater sampling that is ideal for all types of applications. Using this bladder pump ensures that there is no air or water that will come into contact with the sampling. This means that degassing or decontaminating samples is no longer an issue. It measures up to the strictest US EPA standards for VOC groundwater monitoring.
The 407 Bladder Pumps are rugged and long lasting making them well suited for dedicated use. Less expensive polyethylene bladders are also available which are ideal for those who like to change bladders after each use. Bladders and intake filters are easily replaced in the field in a matter of minutes without the need for any special tools.
The stainless steel bladder pumps are great for regular flow or low flow sampling, capable of lifting from depths up to 500ft (150m) below grade.
Low Flow Purge SamplingLow flow sampling reduces turbulence meaning high quality samples are produced. As well as this it reduces purge volumes resulting in lower costs and faster sampling. When combined with the Solinst Model 464 Electronic Pump Control Unit, the Solinst Bladder Pump can be used for continuous output of 100ml/min or less.
The use of Flow-Through Cell Systems during low flow sampling allows for the continuous analysis of purge water as its flowing through the line. Low flow sampling can begin as soon as the readings stabilize. Also available are Packers, that help to further reduce purge volumes and to produce faster sampling times.
