The Solinst 122 Oil Water Interface Meter is capable of giving reliable and accurate measurements of product oil level and thickness in wells and tanks.
The Model 122 can measure both light (floating) non-aqueous phase liquids (LNAPL) and dense (sinking) non-aqueous phase liquids (DNAPL). For the 122, determining LNAPL and DNAPL has been made quick and easy. The probe has been designed to withstand great pressure of up to 500psi and the meter is available in various lengths from 100-1000ft (30-300m).
The probe has been designed to suit a variety of different monitoring applications, due to its small diameter which allows for easy access in tight spaces.
New & Improved VersionThe latest version of the Solinst 122 interface meter is now ATEX certified. Not only this, but Solinst have now introduced the brand new P8 probe. The P8 probe is pressure proof with superior accuracy of 1.00m and a diameter of just 16mm making it ideal for those narrow spaces.
The latest 122 meter now benefits from a durable Laser Marked PVDF tape, making it virtually impossible to remove the markings. As well as this, the tape is non-stretch and can remain rigid making it capable of holding up to 100kg in weight.
The 122 now offers over 120 hours of continuous operation with just one 9 volt battery. Each interface meter comes equipped with a grounding cable, carry case with shoulder strap, cleaning brush and a tape guide.

Probes | |
122 P8 | 5/8” diameter (16 mm) stainless steel. The beam is emitted from within a Hydex cone-shaped tip. It is pressure proof up to 500 psi. The tip is protected by an integral stainless steel shield. This probe is excellent for the vast majority of product monitoring situations. |
122M Probe | 5/8” diameter (16 mm) stainless steel. Similar to the P8 but shorter. |
Tape | The easy-to-read markings on the tape are permanently laser marker into the tape. The dog bone shaped tape avoids adherence to wet surfaces in wells. It is resistant to most chemicals, and the smooth surface of the tape is easy to decontaminate, and easy to handle. |
LM2 | Feet and tenths: with markings every 1/100ft. |
LM3 | Meters and centimetres: with markings every mm. |
