The MCERTS Manta 2 water quality sonde is the ultimate water quality sonde distributed by RS Hydro, it has been purpose designed to be used in any natural water up to 50°C. There are various ways in which the sonde can be used depending on user requirements, it can be set up as an unattended logger, used for spot testing and profiling with the use of the Amphibian display unit/PDA or can be installed with wireless telemetry systems. The Manta 2 is an extremely robust piece of equipment, delivering extremely reilable results whilst being very user friendly, all sensors compatible with the Manta 2 are field replaceable.There are a variety of sonde sizes available, this all depends on the sensor type being used, sizes (outside diameter) available are 2, 2.5, 3, 3.5, 4 and 4.5inches. All Sondes are 16 inches in length and are sold complete with weighted sensor guard and cable locking sleeve.
