SITRANS LR250 Radar Level Transmitter

The Siemens SITRANS LR250 radar level transmitter is a 2-wire, 25 GHz pulse radar level transmitter for the continuous monitoring of liquids and slurries in storage and process vessels. The radar transmitter is suitable for use in high pressure and temperature environments, and can be used to a range of 20 m (66 ft).

The LR250 radar level sensor has a graphical interface (LUI) and setup and operation is made simple with an intuitive Quick Start Wizard. The interface also shows echo profile displays for diagnostic support. Startup is easy with only a few parameters required for basic operation. The 25 GHz frequency creates a narrow, focused beam allowing for smaller horn options and decreasing sensitivity to obstructions.

The Siemens SITRANS LR250 measures superbly on low dielectric media and in small vessels, as well as tall and narrow vessels.Safe and simple programming can be provided via the Intrinsically Safe handheld programmer without having to open the instrument's lid.
