addVANTAGE PRO is a fully web based universal data collection, processing, visualisation, storage and distribution platform, running on the renowned Oracle database engine. It is fully scalable from a single user version with 5 RTU's to large servers with tens of thousands of clients, thousands of RTU's, and running a multitude of extensions. As well as displaying graphical data, the addVANTAGE Pro 5.4 also provides tabular data, provides many and varied tools to process data according to the needs of the client (whether it be a simple report or an advanced statistical analysis) and it can also inform and/or alarm a user about specific events. As the software is web based with all of it's features available through an ordinary web browser, clients can access it from anywhere in the world where they can utilise an internet connection. It's as simple as going to the website of the provider and loging in with username and password. If the client has a WAP enabled mobile phone then data can even be accessed without an internet connection. The WAP interface of the software can easily be configured to allow permanent access. Configuring, supporting and updating a clients locally installed software is a thing of the past making addVANTAGE PRO 5.4 an ideal solution for service providers. Distributing data to thousands of remote users is therefore made simple. The administrator can setup single users, user groups and guest accounts as necessary and assign them individual profiles with varying rights, enabiling RTU's to be visible or hidden as is required.. addVANTAGE Pro 5.4 is programmed in Java and is currently designed to be used on Windows server platforms with a linux version currently in development. Hard- and Software Requirements Java VM 1.5, 1.6 or higher is needed on all systems. addVANTAGE Pro 5.4 is shipped with a bundeled version of java so there is no need to install it separately.
