SITRANS Probe LU Ultrasonic Level Transmitter

The Siemens SITRANS Probe LU ultrasonic level transmitter is a 2-wire, loop-powered ultrasonic level transmitter. It is suitable for monitoring of level, flow and volume in storage vessels and simple process vessels, as well as in open channels. The range on the Probe LU is 6 or 12 meters (20 or 40 feet). It uses Auto False-Echo Suppression for fixed obstruction avoidance, and also boasts improved signal-to-noise ratio for improved accuracy to 0.15% of the range or 6mm (0.25"). This is unmatched reliability.

The SITRANS Probe LU ultrasonic level transmitter uses the latest technology, with Sonic Intelligence signal processing strength, new echo processing features and the latest micro-processor and communications. The Probe LU level transmitter has two communication options: HART and PROFIBUS PA (Profile version 3.0, Class B).

The Siemens Probe LU transmitter is versatile, being available as ETFE or PVDF to suit your chemical conditions. The Probe LU also incorporates an internal temperature sensor, ideal for applications with varying material or process temperatures.
