The BD1-PF system is utilised where you require remote sampling from the water source; this could be bank side of a river or from a remote chamber, channel or discharge point to provide repeatable samples to the integrated flow cell. Users can control how often samples are taken, pump and purge times meaning that it can be easily adapted to simple or complex applications.
Although the system can be powered by an external mains VAC/DC power supply, it works perfectly utilising our 40-watt solar panel (<A2 in size) for 15-minute sampling meaning that the system can be deployed anywhere in the UK.
Our solution is truly unique in that it utilises ultra low power to minimise installed footprint and maximise security. By utilising the modular BD1 system, all components can be hot swapped including the telemetry control system, sensors, flow cells and pumps. Furthermore, the modular design allows the user to be able to redeploy the system purely as an in-river solution or as a covert surveillance tool.
With options to have GPS, multiple I/Os (including SDI12, modbus, 4-20mA, pulse), powering up of attached autosamplers or flow cells, the BD1 is the most versatile system on the market. The addition of a GPS locator means that heat maps can be generated if the system is on the move.
With the system transferring data in near real-time, all data can be viewed on our secure web portal or indeed integrated within your own SCADA or software systems, appearing like the sensor is physically connected to your system. This allows data integration on any platform; this could be a simple node reading, a read-only public graph embedded within a website or embedded control of outstations from your own system.
