The BD2-ENC is almost identical in nature to the BD2-P system except that this is a wall-mounted design. A single weatherproof enclosure contains all components and can either be integrated into existing systems or can be wall mounted adjacent to the sensors. The enclosure measures just 430h x 330w x 200d and incorporates the RTU, charge regulator, electronics and battery.
The BD2-ENC is ideal for measuring a range of water quality, flow, level and meteorological applications and has options for SDI12, modbus, analogue and pulse inputs. This system is ideal for permanent applications which do not require a floor-standing pillar or solar panel and can be mounted within existing infrastructure or instrumentation panels. Additional optional power and relay outputs allows it to power up or control external pumps, autosamplers or activate alarms.
The BD2-ENC can be powered by mains AC/DC, battery or solar. If the later, we offer a range of solar panels ranging from 5 to 40 watts. 20 watts is more than adequate to provide 5-minute data 24/7/365 at any latitude in the UK. If solar is not an option, the internal battery will last approximately 2 months but can be extended by complimenting it with an additional battery within the enclosure.
With data being transferred in real-time using the latest IoT technology, all data can be viewed on our secure web portal or indeed integrated with your own SCADA or software systems, appearing like the sensor is physically connected to your system. This allows data integration on any platform; this could be a simple node reading, a read-only public graph embedded within a website or embedded control of outstations from your own system.
