The Dissolved Oxygen Probe from Thermo AquaSensors can be connected directly to a PLC (Programmable Logic Controller) to give seamless integration with industrial control systems. When attached to a computer, data can be displayed and the unit can be calibrated and customised without the need for an intermediate analyser electronics box. There is also a wide range of 'plug-and-play' communications adapters available for this dissolved oxygen probe, including Modbus? RTU, DeviceNet, Profibus, USB, CANopen or Ethernet. The pre-calibrated Dissolved Oxygen probe head uses Clark cell technology consisting of a silver reference electrode, a silver anode and a gold cathode. It can be replaced with any of the wide range of DataStick sensor heads while the system is operational, saving time and money. The dissolved oxygen probes have a rugged foul resistant membrane, a built in pre-amplifier and an integral temperature sensor to measure temperature independently. The onboard electronics of the oxygen probe are completely encapsulated and O-ring sealed for protection from humidity and moisture.
