The AQUAfast AQ3010 portable turbidity meter is a simple yet powerful turbidity meter that is perfect for the plant, field or even in the lab. Using the Nephelometric principle with 90? detection the meter is capable of generating an accurate reading in seconds (with auto-ranging from 0 to 1000 NTU) and offers an impressive feature list. The infrared LED measurement system means there is no maintenance due to a consistent light source, no temperature effects that can influence the sample during testing and gives better results for coloured samples compared to tungsten meters.
The meter has an IP67 waterproof rating and meets ISO 7027, offering a consistent light source for greater accuracy. In many locations a separate light cap or shield is not necessary.
The turbidity meter kit comes complete with four SDVB primary standards (EPA-approved), which simplify calibration and the verification of the meter's performance.
