The Solinst Rainlogger Edge is the affordable datalogger made to record the tips of standard tipping-bucket rain gauge with a reed switch output. The Rainlogger Edge provides a battery life that lasts up to 10 years offering long term reliability and improved ESD (electrostatic discharge) protection with an ABS housing. This Rainlogger has a non-volatile memory which can hold up to 60,000 readings and are conveniently time stamped and the total rainfall per time period is logged. Samples are recorded at every tip of the tipping bucket. This rainfall data can be used to enable correlation between precipitation events and changes in groundwater or surface water levels. Compatible with all Solinst Levelogger deployment and communication accessories, with the added advantage of integrating into a Solinst Telemetry System and option to communicate using SDI-12 protocol.
