Aluminium Oxide Moisture Probes
AlOx sensors consist of a pourous oxide layer within a thin aluminium coating which allows for water vapour to equibrilate on the pore walls of the oxide layer. The number of water molecules absorbed on the xoide structure determines the conductivity of the pore walls, which is functionally related to the water vapour pressure expressed as water dew point, PPMv, PPMw and other units of measurement. These sensors are easy to install and replace within the field and have a large range of measurement, available with -110oC to +60oC dew point. The sensors are calibrated in nitrogen with known moisture contents for every application.

The M Series Aluminum Oxide Moisture Probes, are used in conjunction with the Panametrics hygrometer connected by cable. The M series probes are connected to hygrometer consoles via cable for ease of use. These instruments have a wide measurement range and accurate calibration standards making these probes highly recommended in the industry.
HygroPro Aluminium Oxide Moisture Transmitter (PRODUCT DISCONTINUED - REPLACED BY THE HYGROPRO II)
The HygroPro moisture transmitter, from Panametrics, is a loop-powered, intrinsically safe transmitter suitable for use in rugged industrial applications. When installed with proper protection, the HygroPro has certified intrinsically safe electronics in an IP67 housing.
