Overview

The MIS Aluminum Oxide moisture probe has set the standard in the industrial industry combining moisture measurements with temperature and pressure. This provides a wide measurement range for ease of use, no longer having to use separate probes when all has been combined into one device. The moisture probe measures temperatures from -22F to 158F (-30C to 70C) including the option of five solid-state piezoresistive transducers to measure pressures up to 5000 psig (345 bar).

The MIS probe receives its power from the attached electronics module that ensures long life as it now compensates the electronics to improve performance. If there was ever a power outage all calibration data is stored in EEPROM automatically, keeping it safe and on record.

To avoid limitations the probe can be moved 3000ft away from the analyzer using inexpensive twisted-pair cable (AWG 22). As a result, the MIS probe is versatile, cost effective and easily installed overcoming many obstacles in the industry.
