The Barologger Edge measures and logs changes in atmospheric pressure which are then used to compensate water level readings recorded by a Levelogger edge, Junior and TLC. The measurement of absolute pressure is expressed in metres, centimetres, feet, psi, kPa or mBar. The Barologger has been designed for use in the air only.
The Barologger Edge is set up in one location above a high water level. One Barologger can be used to compensate atmospheric pressure for all Leveloggers in a 30km (20 mile) radius and/or with every 300m (1000ft) change in elevation.
The Data Compensation Wizard in the Levelogger Software simplifies the adjustment of the level measurements for barometric pressure changes, by using the synchronized data from all Leveloggers on site and the site Barologger.
The Barologger Edge offers superior accuracy due to the use of pressure algorithms which are based on air rather than water pressure. The recorded barometric information is useful to determine barometric lag and/or barometric efficiency of the monitored aquifer.
Version 4 Levelogger Software can program the Levelogger Edge, Gold, Junior and Barologger Edge. When compensating data, Version 4 can recognize the type of Levelogger and compensate using the same units found in the data file making the Barologger Edge backwards compatible.

The free app is available on both Apple® and Android™ smart devices.
Apple devices must be running iOS 11 or later on the following compatible devices:
Android devices must be running version 5.0 or higher. Solinst does not guarantee compatibility on all devices running 5.0, but testing confirms the following can be used:
As the Levelogger App Interface will not connect directly to the top of a Solinst datalogger, it is necessary to have connection accessories. With the Levelogger or Rainlogger, one of the following accessories is required:
